This is the best vault I own. There’s a reason 5/5 reviewers gave it 5/5 stars. The functionality, build quality, craftsmanship, and customer service (thanks, Michele) are all best-in-class.
I’ve had too many problems with electronic vaults. Fingerprint sensors fail with wet hands, touch panels give no feedback, and RFID sensors need precise placement. All bad when you’re under stress. Battery life is unpredictable, and one safe’s batteries corroded and destroyed the electronic backup entirely.
The Simplex mechanical lock on this vault is exactly what I wanted: fast, tactile, no batteries, EMP-proof, reliable, and operable in complete darkness.
I bought the V-Line Tactical Weapons Locker XD for my rifle and mounted it pointing right on the door using V-Line’s Fixed Stock Rifle Mount Kit. Gas struts on both sides hold the door open, and the presentation is beautiful. The metal Molle Board lets me mount magazines with magnetic bars above the barrel. The empty space below the barrel makes room for two 50-cal ammo cans on their side in the upper right of the cabinet, with room left over for accessories.

BLUF: This is a great vault and is perfect for my needs. Equally important, V-Line’s customer service is great.
Long version: The first one I received was out of plumb due to shipping. It made the simplex lock unreliable as the mechanism itself kept getting caught up with the lid. Although not the best experience as a new owner, customer service (specifically Michele) was exceptional. Now that I have a working safe (again, not a fault on V-Line), I am a huge advocate of this product. The locking mechanism is awesome. The molle board is fantastic. The added security features (lock cover, additional key locks, etc.) are all well thought out. Love how much can be stored and I’m very happy with my choice to go with this V-Line Tactical Weapons Locker XD.

This is my third V-line product. Originally, came to the brand given their simplex locks. Each product including this vault has been thoughtfully designed and absolutely bombproof. I actually use the vault in my house as an alternative to a safe, works perfectly in this fashion. Simplex lock is incredibly reliable, fast, but secure. It also has two other mechanical locks on the corners to further secure the door. If I ever needed a vault for my car or truck, this would be at the top of my list to purchase…again. Service has been fantastic BTW.

Ok just want to start off with saying this is a great vault perfect almost. A little back story about me I’m currently a police officer and this holds my SHTF gear. The vault is simple but effective and everything about it screams a well put together piece. However, it will not really work with a 2022 Dodge Durango. The vault is just a little to wide and the Durango curves inward the higher up it goes so the lid scratches the interior trim. I’m going to be looking for a tray to mount this vault on so I can pull it out and then it will work much better but we will have to wait and see (Vline if your reading this and make a tray to mount this to I will be the first one in line to buy it) for now I’m making it work I have my AR and armor inside of it however I need to pull the vault out slightly to get my gear.

Absolutely amazing V-Line product! I purchased this Tactical Weapons Locker XD after purchasing an AR-15 and couldn’t be more happy with my purchase. This is now my third purchase from V-Line and in all likelihood not my last. The quality of materials and workmanship are perfect and the Simplex lock means reliability without depending on batteries/fingerprint scanners/ etc. and quick access is essential. The added key locks provide an added level of security for extended periods away from your locker. The MOLLE panel is rock solid and the tie downs in the bottom of the locker will definitely come in handy. In terms of customer service, I can’t sing V-Line’s praises enough. On my first wall safe, I tried changing the combination and instead of reading directions, I decided to “just figure it out”. Well, that didn’t go the way I thought it was going to and I eventually called customer service to see how to go about fixing my mess. I was on the phone with a very friendly rep almost immediately and she patiently walked me through resetting the lock with clear and concise directions.
Long story short: phenomenal products from a phenomenal company. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat.
