- Genuine SIMPLEX five button easily programmable mechanical lock for quick access with 1082 possible combinations.
- CA DOJ Approved
- 3/8” thick steel lock block welded to cover helps guide and adds strength to the lock bolt.
- Made of 14 ga steel and finished in a textured semi-gloss Ivory powder coating.
- Three (3) adjustable felt lined shelves are included with each Quick Vault XL. There are two types of additional Shelves available for purchase- Shelf-Quick Vault & Quick Vault XL & the Quick Vault XL- Ivory Shelf. Fit in different locations in the case.
- Pre-punched holes for easy installation.
- Lock bolts directly through the inner frame of case to prevent prying.
- Felt lining in back, bottom and sides protects contents.

Was in the market for a home wall safe so did a lot of research and landed on this one. The quality of the V-Line product is so much better than the others I looked at…no over-hyped locking system that work off of batteries or has a key and the quality of product is exceptional. The Quick Vault XL is the perfect size for 8×11 documents and provides more space than the typical wall safe. The multiple shelves allow to adjust the space for your specific requirements and the fully lined inside is a plus. Added bonus is the recessed front in case you want to cover with picture, etc. Very well designed, easy to install and company provides great support.

Can’t sing more praises about this case. Sure, there are cheaper options out there for in-wall safes, but there is likely none better than V-Line’s product. Amazing construction quality, machining/QC, and design thoughtfulness. The included shelves are great as well and allows you to customize how you want to organize your precious goods. It’s near perfection. I love it!

Finally got around to installing my Quick Vault XL. On the fence? Don’t be – I spent ages looking for a proper gun safe that I felt I could trust in a home with young children. Let me tell you why this is the one: (1) Construction; feels bulletproof. I understand why this is a spec product in embassies and other diplomatic facilities. (2) Height – after putting this in, I realized that it’s got the added advantage of being positionable well above toddler height. A floor safe invites small hands – this one is fully out of reach. Finally, (3) the Simplex lock is terrific – I spent time “playing” with it to try and get the safe open, and it didn’t budge. Will be honest, took a few tries to get the code set, but it’s now secure. I love that there’s no key to lose, and we can change the code if needed.
I’ll be purchasing another V-Line product soon, to separate my guns and ammo to further layer protection from theft and unintentional usage.
Only nitpicks: (a) instruction manual says install the shelves first – I didn’t and it’s not a big deal if you don’t, just takes some finding to ID the holes from the front side. This is actually an advantage as you can reposition them in the future if so needed. (b) The included installation bolts are (I suspect) intentionally short, and designed to not draw attention from adjacent stud bays, but are consequently too short for anything but a perfect 14″ opening – in a home like mine with “not perfect” studs, I needed to get a few longer ones to fully mount this sucker. Very minor, and more for installer awareness than a ding on this fine American-made product.

the locking mechanism is easy to set up and use. I had a battery operated push button locking safe that failed and I had to hire a locksmith to open it. This safe can be used for a myriad of purposes. I am very pleased……………….

I own the smaller one with one shelf and I can fit (3) handguns and ammo in it. I’ve purchased (2) V-Line recessed in wall safes in the last 20 years. Solid, heavy steel enclosure, very easy and dependable Quick Access buttons. Very easy to install. Built like a battleship! Highly recommend.

This wall safe is everything I was looking for. I wanted a between-stud safe, exterior door flush fit to the drywall (I hinged a large upright mirror over top for concealment purposes), no electronic components/biometrics that can fail, simple/quick access method (the Simplex lock is perfect for this application), and Made in USA. Being out of reach from my kids was more important than prybar-security, but this thing would take some time for your average crackhead to get into. It’s definitely more expensive than other options, but you’re absolutely paying for a high quality, well made, well thought out product. I have already recommended this safe to a few friends who intend to do the same thing with theirs. For anyone who’s curious, the largest firearm I could fit comfortably was an 11.5″ AR pistol (magazine in) with SBa3 brace collapsed on the shortest setting. Pro-tip; buy a few gun magnets (Go-Magnet is where I got mine), and you wont have to worry about anything tipping out when you open the door and you’ll also be able to make better use of the interior space (they’re perfect for storing full Glock mags vertically along one side).

I’m very pleased with this product. Wayfair had one for $50 less than Amazon. The construction is very high quality. I used to work in a precision sheet metal shop and I can tell that this is built to close tolerances. The fit and finish is great. I like a manual locking system and this is dependable with no batteries to worry about. I used my own 1-1/2″ lag screws to get a better bite on the wall studs. The hardest part for me was trying to align the shelves with the pilot holes in the cabinet. With the carpet covering the holes, it took a bit of fussing to get them in-line and screwed in. You can tell this is American made- very sturdy and solid! The XL easily holds my pistol, accessories, cash and coins. I highly recommend this product and company.

this is my second v-line product. Theres a lot to like about their products: The lock itself is perfect IMO , the thickness of the safe walls, made in the USA, quality packaging, the list goes on.
I had a large firearms cabinet broken into years ago. The thieves just cut into the side with an angle grinder.
Ever since then I’ve realized that the best place for a gunsafe is hidden from plain sight, and in between some 2×4 studs.

I have two of the Compact Pistol Safes which are outstanding products. I needed something larger. The Quick Vault XL was the perfect size. It arrived quickly and installed easily. Took about 45 min start to finish. It is flush to the wall and easily covered. The Simplex lock is secure and reliable. Overall, very happy with the product.

This is an absolutely stellar product- I am completely confident that the Quick Safe XL will keep my firearms and ammo safe and readily accessible should the need arise. The fit and finish are far beyond the smaller safe (from another company) that the XL is replacing. Push button code access means no batteries to go dead, no key to have to grab, no spinning of a combo lock. Total install time was approximately 30 minutes including setting a new code and modifying one of the shelves so I can fit my .410 Henry Axe. Plenty of room in here for the Henry, a S&W Governor, and 10 boxes of shells with a LOT of room to spare.
This is my first V Line product and I tend to be a tough customer as my expectations for things is always high. Let me go on record as stating that V Line has wildly exceeded all of my expectations for this wall safe.
To V Line- kudos to you… keep making excellent products. You have a customer for life.

This is our third V-Line product. The Simplex locks are the only sort I would use to secure a firearm–batteries fail and keys get misplaced. We like the two smaller V-Line safes so much we ordered this one. It installs in about half an hour, if your wall studs are 16″ centers, not including removal of drywall. It is the finest gun safe I’ve found.
