This is the official website for Greta's Guns in Simi Valley, California. In case you didn't know, Greta's Guns is the largest retail firearms store in East Ventura County. We have been in business and at the same location in Simi Valley since 1994.
Greta's Guns is named after Greta, a wonderful lady and great boss, who also happens to be a Rottweiler. Greta’s is owned by Chris, who retired from the Los Angeles Police Department after 28 years of dedicated and faithful service. Chris likes to refer the store as a "Toy Store" for adults.

Many handguns that are illegal to purchase in Los Angeles County are legal to buy in Ventura County. Also, no fingerprinting is required for purchasing ammunition and there are no limits to the amount you can purchase. Plus, there is a much lower sales tax rate in Ventura County.
